Point your domain to Ceohost: nameservers vs A record

Your domain must know where your website lives. You can change the nameservers or edit one A record.

Step by step

  1. Nameservers: log in to your domain registrar and enter the Ceohost nameservers from your welcome email.
  2. A record: instead, keep your current DNS and change the A record to your hosting IP address.
  3. Use nameservers if you want cPanel to manage all DNS records.
  4. Use the A record if email or other services stay at another provider.
  5. Wait for DNS to update. It often takes a few minutes to a few hours.
  6. Check with a DNS lookup tool to confirm the change.
